FEDERATION OF INDIAN CORPORATE LAWYERS (‘FICL’) is committed to provide a national platform for policy advocacy, knowledge sharing amongst the Indian corporate legal community and to promote professional recognition of corporate lawyers within the legal community in India.
FICL shall provide a national platform for corporate lawyers (including In-house lawyers engaged in practice in public sector / private sector corporations, business enterprises, associations, institutions, not-for-profit organisations, government or regulatory boards or agencies in India) to develop the highest professional skills and standards as corporate lawyers;
FICL is a not-for-profit organisation whose day to day affairs are managed by the office of its CEO.
CEO supervises the day to day management of the affairs of FICL.
The Honorary President of FICL is invited by the CEO who is responsible for all the functions, duties and responsibilities of the implementation of FICL programmes and initiatives.

The role of NAC is primarily to act as a ‘ Think Tank ‘ for FICL for giving
guidance, advice and suggestions to the CEO and the Hon. President
regarding initiatives and programs to be undertaken by FICL.
NAC takes an active role in determining modalities of FICL programs and initiatives, articulating the goals, means, to be served by FICL programs, ensuring effective planning and strengthening of FICL programs and services, aiding in ensuring adequate financial resources for FICL programs and services and enhancing the organisation's public standing.
The embodiment of the Indian Elephant in the FICL Logo symbolises wisdom, stability, loyalty, intelligence, reliability and determination. The blue colour signifies trust, dignity, intelligence and the red colour signifies boldness and courage. The roundness of font used for the FICL logo represents dynamic thrust to move forward and to keep up with changing times.
