About the Job Opportunity

Looking for an individual to deliver in a fast-paced environment with transparency and condor. The candidate will be responsible to manage and administer contracts for Projects at GE Renewables Energy Hydro Business, Asia Region. The position is based at Vadodara with reporting line to Senior Contract Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review of contractual risk and obligations in customer contracts and various agreements.

  • Preparing Contract Analysis for OTR Projects in post Award stage.

  • Interfacing with various functions for data collection for purpose of claim, Change orders etc.

  • Work with Project teams to ensure effective contract administration.

  • Preparing and review claims.

  • Ensure all contractual communications and notices are issued in time to safeguard GE interest at all times.

  • Provide required support to Legal function for litigation and dispute resolution.

  • Managing and reporting insurance claims.

  • Conduct awareness sessions on contractual terms.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Law graduate with 1 year of experience in law firm or Engineering graduate with Minimum 3 years of experience into Project Management.

  • Knowledge of Power plants may be an added advantage.

  • Basic knowledge of different forms of FIDIC contract and other contracts may be preferred.

  • The candidate should have advanced knowledge of MS excel and basic knowledge of MS word and Microsoft office.

  • Understanding basics of delay mapping techniques using various tools may be considered.

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in the English language;

  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player with interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Good analytical skills, quick learner, flexible to change and driven on results.

  • Sharp observer and proactive approach.

  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.

  • Accountability with respect to deadlines.

  • Certification from professional institutes- CriArb, RICS or equivalent.
