About Terra Economics & Analytics Lab

Terra Economics & Analytics Lab (TEAL), is building an end-to-end decision support platform for land and property for banks, housing finance companies, real estate/infrastructure developers, retail investors and transacting parties. Their analytical tools and services utilize collated, organized and interpreted data from land records, property registrations, tax filings, court mandates, land-use regulations, master plans, cadastral surveys, infrastructure plans, municipal by-laws, building codes and planning requirements. 

About the job

As a Legal Executive you will be working closely with our legal team

Your day-to-day will involve

  1. Conducting and verification of title due diligence and providing legal opinion

  2. Drafting and vetting of contracts and other documents

  3. Effective management of cases allotted and timely reporting of escalations

  4. Coordinating with external counsels and clients

  5. Conducting research on land laws of different states and coordination with vendors for securing documents and reports

  6. Handling property registration work

  7. Handling other related tasks assigned time to time 

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Can work with confidential documents.

  • Has basic understanding of real estate laws (Having sound knowledge of RERA is an added advantage)

  • Pays attention to detail

  • Is able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Has good communication skills

  • Is proficient in one or more of the following languages - Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati (Ability to read and write at least one of these languages is a must.)

  • Background in litigation preferred but not compulsory

  • Prior experience in real estate law and knowledge of basic property documentation is an added advantage
