Rajeev Chopra is Managing Director – Legal responsible for legal support to India, Philippines,Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Global Delivery Centres. In this role, he leads a team that provides cross-domain expertise for various areas of law and risk mitigation including compliance, operations, regulation and ethics for each of these markets, and has also led several complex organizational restructuring projects.
Rajeev joined Accenture in 2007 prior to which he was General Counsel and led legal teams in LG, Airtel and Dell. He started his career with a private practice in the Delhi High Court handling corporate commercial practice.
During his professional journey, Rajeev has won several accolades including the prestigiousLegal 500 GC Powerlist for 4 consecutive years; Recognition by Indian Corporate CounselAssociation and The Law Society of England and Wales for outstanding contribution towards the Indian in-house legal community and for playing an integral part in facilitating trade and commerce in India Corporate Legal Sector; Recognition by Legal Era for Leadership Excellence for Continuous Growth as “In-House and ;Recognition by Corporate Counsel Association of India as one of the “Shining Star of Indian Legal Fraternity.
