FICL is pleased to support the IPBC India 2023 organised by IAM on 27 April at Infosys Limited, Bengaluru.

IPBC India 2023 will take place as a dedicated one-day programme comprising five sessions on 27 April 2023. The programme will provide a packed agenda tackling the IP policy developments, market trends and commercial pressures affecting both Indian enterprises' overseas business and international corporations operating in India.

About IPBC

Since it was launched in Amsterdam in 2008, IPBC has become established as the world's principal forum for senior thought leaders who specialise in the business of intellectual property, giving them a place to come together and discuss cutting-edge issues around IP value creation. With intellectual property continuing to move further up the corporate, investment and policy agendas, this focus is more relevant than ever before.

Previous IPBC Global events in Amsterdam (2008 and 2014), Chicago (2009), Munich (2010), San Francisco (2011, 2015 and 2018), Cascais (2012), Boston (2013 and 2019) Seattle (2021) and Ottawa (2017), as well as IPBC events in Beijing, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo and Taipei, amongst many others, have clearly demonstrated that the event is unique in the IP calendar.

The opportunities that the IPBC format affords for the exchange of views and experiences - both in formal sessions and during breakfast, lunch and networking breaks - are unparalleled, and are why IPBC events attract such high-level attendees and speakers.

Corporate IP best practice

India is a crucial IP market that continues to grow at an unprecedented pace. Complexities abound, and rights holders need strategic knowledge to maximise their success in the jurisdiction. From an outbound perspective, Indian companies and research institutions also face numerous challenges to protect, maximise and monetise their IP assets overseas, with new threats and opportunities emerging each year.

Why Attend

  • IPBC India focuses solely on intellectual property as a business asset and how best it can be managed to extract maximum value.

  • IAM is exceptionally placed to assemble an outstanding set of speakers and delegates – from both domestic and international markets – who bring experience, knowledge and insight to the issues that truly matter to senior IP decision makers.

  • Limited delegate numbers, strictly enforced occupation quotas and carefully designed sessions mean that IPBC India combines world-class IP business expertise with outstanding networking opportunities.

  • The IPBC format works because it brings together the most senior representatives from across the IP industry not just to discuss IP business, but also to do deals.

About IAM

IAM is universally acknowledged as the world’s leading IP business information provider. It was launched in July 2003 to address how businesses and other entities can maximise the value of their intellectual property and other intangibles and examine the strategies they can employ to do this. IAM is unique because it treats intellectual property as a business asset and tool, rather than simply as a legal right. With this unequalled appeal to the boardroom, IAM has firmly established itself as the only IP media platform that senior corporate executives read regularly.
